A few years ago, one of my personal websites was infected with malware due to a security hole in a content management system I was using to power a forum. Within days, before I even realized it, all of the sites I had hosted on that server were infected. Removing the malware was a painful, manual process. I wouldn’t wish malware on anyone, and that’s why I was led to share this need, from Max.
Max is looking for help cleaning malware from his sites. He says most of the malware is located in his htaccess files.
Can you help Max? If so, add your words of wisdom and offers of help directly on his request.
